Most of my personal work is about the relationship between individuals and the spaces they occupy.

This work is almost never perfect, often imbalanced, but it wants to live. As an author, I don't care much about perfection: I like photographs with presence and charge.

Alongside my authorial work, I shoot portraits, concerts and commissioned work for artists, cultural organisations, institutions and businesses. When I shoot on commission, I'm still me, but there's a second voice too.

The personal work is my playground. The commissioned work is where we play together and make something cool.
